biography
"Sol Devious are a new British band picking up the baton of writing themselves into the history books of rock n roll. Originating from North London and looking to take the Devious sound to as many towns and venues as possible across the UK in 2008.

An indie rock 'n' roll five piece clearly influenced by 60s pop, 90s indie, Factory Records and the Rave scene they merge these influences to create a sound that’s new and gets everyone at their gigs energised, involved and shaking the floor.

After consistently making people listen on the London circuit in 2007 they are getting noticed… o2 Undiscovered (Final 10), Sumo (Leicester) supporting The Twang, o2 Wireless festival (Hyde Park), Borderline, 100 Club, Barfly (Camden), 93 Feet East with Gigs on Air, XFM Uploaded finalists, Camden Crawl featured on MTV Overdrive, Secret Garden Party festival (Cambridgeshire), Shepherd’s Bush Empire supporting The Rifles and their song “I Gave Up Drugs (Mistakes)” appears on new British film "Bigga than Ben" released in 2008. And just confirmed, a monthly residency at The Borderline starting April 2008.

Sol Devious is a band full of strong characters who’s love of music and rock n roll legend brought them together to make songs that are above all honest, packed with their own style and straight from the Sol including “I Gave Up Drugs (Mistakes)”, “Cut n Run”, “Powder Monkey”, “Sol Revolution” and “Come A Long Way” they’ve got it and got it right with credible infectious anthems.
